Access to Script     |     Review of Marking

Access to Script - Deadline Thur 23 Aug

It is now become possible to obtain a copy of GCSE scripts and these can then be considered when evaluating whether it is appropriate to apply for a Review of Marking.

To request copies of GCSE scripts, please complete the Priority Access to Script Consent form. This should be returned, along with payment, to the Exams Officer on GCSE Results day - Thursday 23 August. Payment can take the form of a cash payment or a cheque made payable to Hampshire County Council.

The Exams Officer will be available on GCSE Results day for any enquires and will be found in the Drama Studio.

The exam papers will then be available for review by 7th September.

Fees June 2018 - GCSE Examinations (please note that some subjects comprise of several exam papers and the cost detailed below is per paper – not as a qualification as a whole)

  • OCR: £11.75
  • WJEC/Eduqas: £11
  • AQA: service not available

Review of Marking - Deadline Fri 14 Sep

This is a post-results review of the original marking to ensure that the agreed mark scheme has been applied correctly. It is not a re-marking of the candidate’s script.

The awarding body will have trained its reviewers to conduct reviews of marking accurately and consistently.

This service will include:

  • a clerical re-check
  • a review of marking as described above
